Garrrr today was pretty busy for me. First things first, though:
I'M TRYING OUT FOR THE FALL PLAY
Wow, now I can't say I never did anything in high school except for basketball.... and being the vice president of the computer graphics class... and taking on 7 classes each semester.... ANYWHO. After Drama today [basically after school], I signed up to try out for the school play. Tya was there, with Keri, and some new friends I met during Drama class. Arggghhh Drama was so fun today! lol. I got to "perform" in front of the class and argue with this REALLY hot senior. And when I say hot, I mean WATER POLO, TANNED, BUILT BODY HOT. hahaha. I got to slap and push him which was sooooo fun you don't even know.
This year's play is called We Bombed in New Haven by Something Heller. It's by that author that wrote Catch 22, I just can't remember his first name right now because I'm trying to blog really fast since I should seriously be asleep by now. Anywho, the roles that I am going to audition for [and HOPEFULLY get] is the role of Sinclair [an officer or something or other.. i forgot] and Ruth. Sinclair and Ruth are two of the most people with "spunk" in the entire play, and once I get a copy of it, I'll post some of their lines and you'll understand. I absolutely fell in love with those characters and it would be a *dream* to play one of them.
After I signed up to try out for the play, I went home and got ready to go to my Italian class at Cabrillo [technically, the class is at Mission Hill Jr. High, but it's through Cabrillo]. OH MY GOSH I am in *love* with my Italian class. My teacher [Signore Martini] is sooo pretty and she's a pretty good teacher. The whole class went by very smoothly and even though she started speaking in Italian from the start, I still love it more than Spanish. I guess I just like the accents on Italian rather then Spanish. It's so exotic and beautiful. =D I know I'm looking too far in to the future right now, but hopefully I can do a few more years of Italian to a degree in which I can speak it fairly fluently, so I can get going on learning another language, hopefully French or German. Mmmm. Foreign languages are fun. =)
After my class, my mom picked me up and we headed to the Boardwalk to pick my sister up from work. When we got there, I realized that the "End of the Season Party" was going on at Cocoanut Grove, so I stopped by for a while to see who was there. I saw the "crew" from Twisselmans, and I hung out with Dara, Chad and one of their friends for a bit and ate a burrito. I left right after I ate, because my mom was still waiting for my sister outside of her work, and it turned out that she was going to the party with her friend anyways so my mom and I just headed home.
When I got home, I wrote a stupid letter to some stupid State Senator for an American Government assignment. My teacher told us that if the person we write to writes back to us, we get extra credit so I just made up some random bullshit and hopefully Senator McPherson would buy it. Garrr I shoudl sleep now, I need to wake up early enough tommorow so I can shoooooower. x_o
